The Boisdale & Xerjoff Original Music Prize is for outstanding singers and songwriters from around the world
If you are aged 18 or over, unsigned and writing original music, this is your opportunity to be heard. Submit your song for the chance to reach the live final at Boisdale of Canary Wharf and perform in front of leading artists and music industry figures.
The final takes place on Monday 1 February 2027, hosted by Jools Holland OBE.

Live at Boisdale of Canary Wharf
The live final will be hosted by Boisdale’s Patron of Music, Jools Holland OBE.
Jools is a pianist, bandleader, singer, composer and one of Britain’s best-known music broadcasters. Through Later... with Jools Holland, he has introduced audiences to remarkable performers from around the world, often at the beginning of their careers.
On 1 February 2027, he will welcome the finalists to the stage at Boisdale of Canary Wharf.

Meet The Judges
Artists Who Know What It Takes
The judges come from different corners of the music world, but they will be looking for the same qualities: an original song, a distinctive voice and a performance that stays with them.
Jamie Cullum
Jamie Cullum is a singer, songwriter and pianist whose music brings jazz together with pop and contemporary songwriting.
His multi-platinum album Twentysomething introduced his energetic approach to jazz to an international audience. He has since built a wide-ranging career as a recording artist, live performer and broadcaster.
Jamie also presents a weekly programme on BBC Radio 2, where he shares new discoveries alongside established names from the jazz world.
Rebecca Ferguson MBE
Rebecca Ferguson is a British singer-songwriter known for her rich, soulful voice and deeply personal performances.
After reaching the final of The X Factor, she released her platinum-selling debut album, Heaven. It was followed by Freedom, Lady Sings the Blues and Superwoman.
Rebecca received an MBE in 2024 for services to the music industry, recognising her work both as an artist and as a campaigner for change within the industry.
Omar LYE-FOOK MBE
Omar has been a defining voice in British soul for more than four decades.
A singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, he first came to wider attention with There’s Nothing Like This. His music moves naturally between soul, funk, jazz, Latin and Afrobeat.
Omar’s collaborators have included Stevie Wonder, Erykah Badu, Common and Angie Stone. He received an MBE for services to music.
Sergio Momo
Sergio Momo, the founder of Xerjoff Luxury Italian Perfumes is a passionate supporter and performer of live music and has created fragrances in collaboration with various music icons including Duran Duran and Toni Iommi.

Music Can Make a Difference
The Boisdale & Xerjoff Original Music Prize is being developed in aid of War Child, which supports children living through conflict.
The charity helps children stay safe, continue their education and recover from the impact of war.
Fifty percent of each entry fee will support War Child’s work, giving every artist’s entry a purpose beyond the competition itself.

The leading artists will be reviewed by the judging panel, which will select the performers progressing to the live final.
